As we begin 2025, the entire Data Governance Alliance for Smarter Citizens team sends you its best wishes: may this year be marked by ethics, transparency, innovation... and collective data control.

The year 2024 marked a turning point: awareness of the challenges of data governance reached a new level. Citizens, communities, and businesses began to realize that regaining control of data means regaining control of the levers of a fairer, more sustainable, and more sovereign future.

A 2025 roadmap focused on concrete use cases

For 2025, the president of the association presented a clear roadmap , built around four priority use cases :

• Energy : mastering energy flexibility and optimizing consumption

• Water : water cycle governance and water resilience

• Health : managing population health at the territorial level

• Spaces : reinvention of living and working spaces through intelligent management of uses

Through these axes, the DG4SC reinforces its ambition: to make data traceability readable, controllable and usable by all stakeholders , whatever their level of digital maturity.

By linking its Data4U reference framework to these concrete cases, the association hopes to make it more operational, more intelligible, and more easily integrated into field projects.
